The house can be seen off in the distance, through its front gate. That’s what it was in 1979, when a Prince of Saudi Arabia, an heir to the throne I believe, was given a slot to attend the Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell’s Air University. His minions quickly located and purchased this rather ordinary dwelling and its huge lot, and hired my partner to redesign the place. They spent millions on the remodeling, and partner was required to fly to London, later Paris, to meet with internationally known interior designers, security specialists and other contributors to the venture. Thirty years ago this quiet spot on Antoinette was paranoia central. All that for a nine–month stay. I believe this house was owned by Ed and Ann Dennis prior to the Sheiks, I guess making this the Dennis House?
